A qualified lawyer, Conrad first entered the property market working in the Property Division of Shoprite Checkers. For the next eight years, he was responsible for numerous pan-African developments, enlargements, and renovations. In 2014, he switched to the consultancy side of the property industry as a Project Manager, where he was responsible for project and construction management, tenant coordination and client representation on industrial, commercial, office and retail projects in South Africa and abroad. Conrad founded his own Project Management and Quantity Surveying consultancy in 2018. 

Having completed his National Diploma Building Science (QS/CM), Karabo began his career in the built environment as a junior Project Manager with MDSA Project Management in 2009. He then joined My Uniform Properties in their retail development division before returning to MDSA Project Management in 2013. It was here – in his capacity as Senior Project Manager – that Karabo oversaw the successful completion of various retail, commercial and industrial projects. The roles he occupied during his tenure at the consultancy included Project Management, Construction Management and Tenant Coordination.
